Admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in Michigan and U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association. Former adjunct member of Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board. Former Michigan Special Assistant Attorney General. Recipient American Jurisprudence Book Award in Torts. Member of the Michigan Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association and Hellenic Bar Association - Past President. Member of Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Case Evaluator for Wayne County and Oakland County Circuit Courts, Federal Court Facilitator, Independent Arbitrator, Circuit Court Facilitator.

Mr. Angelas has over twenty-nine years of property and casualty litigation experience. He has participated in over 4,000 litigated cases, many involving wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, significant property damage or complex legal issues. He has been a shareholder with Alexander & Angelas, P.C. since 1992. His representative clients include dozens of nationally recognized motor carriers, insurance companies, and corporations. While a Special Attorney General representing the State of Michigan he represented the State in litigated claims. He has extensive trial and ADR practice experience. His primary practice focus is the representation of defendants against catastrophic injury claims, significant motor carrier cases, complex commercial and contractual actions and insurance litigation. He lectures on topics including Michigan’s Auto No-Fault Statute, auto negligence liability and Michigan litigation practice and procedure.
