Insurance Affiliates Information

The purpose of this webpage is to provide information about the newest membership category, the Insurance Affiliate. Offering affiliation privileges to insurance investigators will enhance the communication between the insurance community and the legal community. There are a wide range of benefits, all described below.

Any non-attorney insurance investigator with an Affiliation will not be classified as a member of the MDTC, rather the individual will be deemed an Affiliate of the MDTC with limited privileges. After following the process identified more fully below, once an insurance investigator becomes an Affiliate that individual will have access to the following,

Dedicated SIU Listserv;
Membership rate to attend events;
Access to the Quarterly and past Quarterly publications;
Access to brief bank;

An insurance investigator seeking to become an Affiliate will submit an application. Upon submission of the application, the Affiliate will present a statement of good standing from their organization’s administrator. Upon receipt, the administrator will send the application to the MDTC board for nomination and confirmation.
