Paul James Johnson

Biographical Info

Paul James Johnson concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation in both state and federal courts. His experience encompasses a broad range of claims including medical malpractice, construction liability, automobile negligence, products liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage.

Mr. Johnson possesses many years of trial experience and has achieved numerous and significant verdicts. He conducts jury trials and bench trials in numerous Michigan courts and federal district courts. His litigation experience includes appeals to all state appellate courts and the federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has obtained many summary judgment decisions and jury verdicts in favor of his clients.

Mr. Johnson is a 1977 graduate of Bob Jones University and a 1982 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

As a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Johnson is involved in the Litigation Section, Negligence Law Section, Insurance and Indemnity Law Section, and the Appellate Practice Section. He regularly serves on the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal Association and Oakland County Mediation.
