J. Steven Johnston - President
J. Steven Johnston has been elected Treasurer of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) for 2006-2007. Steve is the Vice President, Chief Operating Officer for the law firm of Berry, Johnston, Sztykiel & Hunt, P.C., with offices in Troy and Zeeland, Michigan. His practice is focused on Employment, Product Liability, Personal Injury, Insurance and Commercial Litigation. Steve graduated with a B.A. cum laude from Michigan State University and with a J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law.
Steve is a long-term member of the Board of MDTC and is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Oakland and Macomb County Bar Associations. Steve is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the State Bar of Michigan Negligence Law Section.
