Walter P. Griffin

Past President Questionnaire

1. What do you remember most about your MDTC Presidency?

We were a young organization, and I was one of the members who helped create the organization. Our main goal during my Presidency was to increase membership and establish educational seminars.

I also have a hazy recollection of becoming the President at the Grand Hotel and being in the company of Jim Kohl, Mike Fordney, John E.S. Scott, and Bob Rutt at the nearest watering hole and celebrating the existence of MDTC.

2. Which past president(s) influenced you the most or made the biggest impact on your involvement in MDTC?

Jim Kohl - there is no question Jim was the driving force in establishing the MDTC and organizing participation.

3. What have you enjoyed most about your involvement in MDTC?

Networking and friendship.

4. What are you doing now?

Working. I still enjoy the practice of law and attempt to convince my partners I am doing enough to have an office.
